Chemotherapy-Induced Neuropathy

A significant number of people with HIV are also being confronted with cancer in one way or another. However, the chemotherapy drugs used to treat this can, in some cases, cause neuropathic problems. It's always wise to consult carefully with your HIV specialist or oncologist to find the best way of treating your cancer with the minimum of side effects. It may be that the risk of neuropathy is unavoidable because the drugs are necessary to treat the cancer but forwarned is forearmed and if there's one thing we've learned over the years, it's the importance of full information. Today's short video may give you some idea of what you may want to discuss with your doctors.
