Neuropathy Caused By Prescription Drugs (Vid)

Today's video post from beatingneuropathy.tv (see link below) sees Dr John Hayes talk about a subject that's all over the internet at the moment and that's neuropathy caused by some of the drugs used to treat other conditions (statins and certain types of antibiotics for instance). It is essential to ask your doctor if the drugs he or she prescribes, are likely to cause neuropathy and if so, ask for alternatives. If you're still not happy, Google the name of the drug and neuropathy and see if there are potential problems.

Drug induced neuropathy is now more common than ever. In this video, Dr. Hayes discusses the most common drugs that are associated with the eventual development of neuropathy. Watch carefully, listen and learn. Be especially careful if you take or have taken in the past statins, antihypertensives, and modern classes of antibiotics.
