Could Brian King Joseph's Tattoos Have Caused His Nerve Damage?

Today's post from nhlifefree.com (see link below) follows on from yesterday's post in asking once again the question...can tattoos cause nerve damage. Now we've posted an article about Brian King Joseph last month (use the Search button to find it) and as the author here states, much has indeed been made of his neuropathy problems and the discomfort they bring. However, considering that he is heavily tattooed, it does seem relevant to ask the question...could those tattoos have in any way caused his neuropathy? Now hearsay and supposition do nobody any favours and it's entirely possible that the two have no connection in this man's case but because tattooing is not that well regulated, I'd be interested to know what expert neurologists think - the answers may be of benefit to us all.

I liked him and was impressed by his virtuosity from the very first time I saw him on

“America’s Got Talent” (AGT) 2018, way back — a few months ago.

He has now made it to the semi-finals and we are happy. We rooted for him.

He is beyond good. Extremely gifted.

While his music and talent should speak for itself, from his very first appearance

MUCH has been made of his nerve pain and nerve damage (i.e., neuropathy).

AGT milks it, given that they love to add color and contours to the performers.

So, I was watching him, intently, the other night and was struck by the extent of his

tattoos. He has a lot of tattoos on his arm.

This got me thinking. When I was writing my “Central Pain” book I came to appreciate

that nerve damage and nerve pain typically occurs because something ‘major’ triggered it.

I got to wondering if all of his tattoos MIGHT HAVE HAD something to do with his never

issues. I had never thought of that connection before.

Well I Googled and you can see the results above.

I am BY NO MEANS saying that this might have been a case. It is something to THINK

about. Something to look into. IF I was him I would be asking my doctors …

‘could it in any way have been triggered by my tattoos?’

Look into it. Stranger things do happen.
